Krishna Luchoomun’s work involves a ritual of collecting leaves from the many trees in the forest near Mount Tsukuba. The diversity and range of species and colours of the leaves is a metaphor for the diversity of races, religions and character of all the people of this world. As Krishna says, "In this tunnel of time, the leaves all eventually turn brown, and so we are all quite similar and reach the same place and fate in life.” As in India, where each doorway has a string of leaves over it, the leaves ward off evil and keep a good energy in a place. This time tunnel, or corridor of life winds its way through the forest, each entrance made of bamboo strips. As you walk out at one end of the tunnel you unexpectedly discover yourself reflected in a mirror at the end in the forest, making us all the more aware we are a part of this world, part of nature, part of the scene.
Krishna also installed an Action Reaction swing outdoors. A colourful tree of human clothes woven together rises up as you swing, then sets down on the ground. The message is we need to Wake Up so as to change the world, evolve it, so as to continue life….

Krishna Luchoomun（クリシュナ･ルチューマン）の作品は筑波山近くの森にたたずむたくさんの木から木の葉を集める儀式ではじまる。さまざまな葉の種類や色のちがいとその幅は世界に住む民族の種族、宗教、性格の多様性のメタファーだ。クリシュナ自身の言葉によると「この時間のトンネルの木の葉は早晩みな茶色になってゆくが、同じようにわたしたちもみなお互いにかなり似ていて、生きているうちに同じ場所と運命にたどりつく」。インドでは戸口ごとの鴨居に一筋の木の葉をつるし、悪霊を追い払い良いエネルギーが家の中に宿るようにする。このタイムトンネルはある意味、人生の廊下で、森の中を曲がりながら進み両端の入り口は割り竹でできている。トンネルを抜けると思いもかけず森の彼方に自分の姿が鏡に映っているのが見え、わたしたちがこの世の、自然の、風景の、一部であることをいやが上にも思い知らせてくれる。
また、クリシュナはAction Reaction （作用・反作用）ブランコを野外にインストールしている。たがいに縫い合わされたわたしたちの衣服がブランコをこぐと上にあがりそして地上に落ちてくる。メッセージは、わたしたちは目を覚まして世界を変え、世界を徐々に展開させて生きてゆく必要がある．．．．．。
